Living the Future

Today I finished vacating the fine office that I have shared with my Plymouth State University, College of Business Administration colleague Daniel Moore, Ph.D. for the past five years.  With some help from the room's future occupant, Professor Sam Brickley, J.D., I packed my books and files into a dozen heavy moving boxes.

At the loading dock door of Hyde Hall, I found the dock blocked by two huge dumpsters. both there for the use of the construction crews that are renovating part of our building this summer.

I carried one box to my car.  The rest I left there to go into the dumpsters.  That trove of old treasures includes a full plastic desktop filer full of 3-1/2" floppy disks, not to mention hundreds of old books, exam drafts, case studies, etc, etc, etc.

I will probably miss some of them one day, but so be it.

My decision was to live the future.
