Stamford, Connecticut
Andrei has seen Niagara Falls, Chicago and its North Shore suburbs of Wilmette, Kenilworth, and Evanston. He has ridden patiently across The Great Plains States of Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. He has toured the Rocky Mountain National Park and The Garden of the Gods in Colorado. He has met my 93 year-old friend (and former English teacher) Joseph McCloskey, as well as my daughters Christal and Piper, Christal's husband John Lehman, and my granddaughter Hannah Lehman in Colorado. He has ridden on a brand new Harley-Davidson in Overland Park, Kansas, when we visited Steve Parscale at the ACBSP Headquarters. He has been in 20 of our 50 United States. Today, he is touring New York's Manhattan Island in the company of Diana Doroftei, co-author of
The Little Book of Romanian Wisdom. We had lunch today with Diana and her co-author Matthew Cross at their home in New Caanan, Connecticut. Tonight I shall meet their commuter train back out to Stamford, and tomorrow we will make the "short" trip home to Hotel New Hampshire.
